Problems with games Win 7

   The final problem lies in Fallout 3. I get HORRIBLE lag times while playing. However I can set resolution to 1680x1050

   Everything worked just fine on windows vista
   
   
4. Is the problem consistent and repeatable, or entirely random, or semi-random?
   Extremely repeatable... all I need to do is launch the game.
   
   
   
5. I already tried these steps:
   I have rebooted computer
   I have updated software (games and win 7)
   
   
6. My software:
   • Windows 7 Professional x64 (from MSDNAA)
   • Avast Antivirus
   • Windows Firewall
   
   
   
7. My hardware (Nothing is overclocked)
   • V. Raptor 300gb
   • Core i7 920
   • 2x GTX 260 core 216 SLI
   • Gigabyte EX58-UD5 Motherboard
   • 6GB OCZ RAM
   • Corsair 1000watt PSU
   • Latest Nvidia drivers
   • Antec 1200 Case
   
   
8. Other information that might be relevant
   Assassin's Creed runs fine, as does Saints Row 2, Prototype, and GhostBusters

Have you tried another video card? If you can, get another Nvidia card so you don't have to update the drivers.

Also, the fact that it was working just fine under Vista makes me think Windows 7 is the problem. It might be worth going back to Vista and waiting for Win 7 to get better support or whatever.

Windows 7 or the the video drivers are likely the problem. Might want to look into some Nvidia beta drivers.

Still haven't got RA3 to work... however the other games appear to only have the problem after my computer has woken from sleep mode...

Thanks for the help, where can I find Nvidia Beta Drivers?
