Problems with intermittent signal loss and 4K TV.

Guys I need your help on something because it's imperative that I find the source of the issue finally.
So I use my 4k TV substantially to play some PC games through HDMI 2.0.
While my gpu has HDMI 2.0 and I can connect it easily on my 55UB850V and output 60Hz@2160p, I have frequent intermittent signal loss for a fraction of a second or sometimes a whole sec and then the picture comes back. This usually happens when I play, I don't recall having this issue on desktop. And I tried to use my gpu at stock clocks, because I thought that maybe it only happens when the card is o/ced but it happens at stock clocks as well.
Unfortunately I don't have Display Port to check on TV, but on my monitor DVI and DP work fine with this card.
This happens only when I connect it to my TV.
Is this due to the fact that HDMI 2.0 cable has its "issues" with such high bandwidth, because I don't think that the gpu hdmi 2.0 port is an issue. This has happened with another gpu that we tested here and hooked it up to my TV before.
So could this be an issue with the TV port or plain HDMI bandwidth issues?
And if it's the latter do you have any ideas on how to eliminate the signal loss, it gets really frustrating when I play on TV through my PC and I have them. Do I need a better quality HDMI 2.0 cable, or should I check something else?

A simple HDMI 2.0 cable nothing of worth mentioning built quality.

Also I want to mention that I thought of 3rd party apps in the background like MSI Afterburner but even if I don't open it I have experienced it (that is if I'm not completely mistaken).

This one has only 10.2Gbps bandwidth and supports up to 4k@24Hz.
I'll take a look at Monoprice. Any other stores that sell quality cables?

What length cable are you using?

5ft should be sufficient, this is what I normally get.

Any of these 18.2 Gbps or above will work too.

A little more expensive but not nearly as unwieldy (fat). I have a few heavy gauge cables and they are a pain to pull into cabinets. Bought them before Redmere came out, though.

Do you all think it's the cable? I mean I'm gonna get one no doubt to test, but just checking anything else I might have missed

Should be. I guess you can try to stress relief the current cable to see if it was a lose connection issue.

I agree. The intermittent loss sounds like a classic cable issue. Trying to unbend the cable might be all you need, but I'm sure everyone already knows that doing so is nearly impossible with some A/V cabinets.
