I have a Toshiba Satalite A75 laptop with a P4, and I have been having trouble with it for the last year. It came with an extended service warrenty with Best Buy, but they haven't been able to fix it for more than a couple of months.
The most recent problem (which it is currently at the service center to get fixed for the 3rd time) is that the batter will not charge while the AC adapter is pluged in and the power is on; while it will charge while the maching is sleeping or turned off. The DC Jack has been replaced; it is not the battery as I have tried other batteries, it is not the AC adapter as I have tried 3 (2 factory Toshiba adapters, and 1 3rd party adapter).
I need your help. My warrenty is up in September, and as long as Best Buy doesn't do any more hardware fixes they are not obligated to exchange my laptop for a working model.
