Problems with Microsoft Edge

Is anyone having trouble with this browser? Here are a few things I can't do:

- Open a second (or third, or ...) instance of it
- Print to PDF, even using a third party PDF printer driver
- Save a web page

Is it still in beta?

I'm using it at home and haven't encountered major issues. Have you tried to reset the Edge to default settings?

I noticed the printing issue the other day. It kept trying to fax. I had to open up the link in chrome to actually print

I've been able to open multiple instances.

I haven't tried printing from Edge or converting to PDF from Edge so can't comment.

I have noticed other issues that has cause me to use Chrome instead as my primary browser. I check every week to see if updates have improved the browser but nothing yet.

Only problem I have is that I am a cookie control freak. You can no longer prompt for cookies, and blocking third party cookies isn't good because many web sites use third party cookies, like my bank. I guess the way things are being tracked these days, blocking cookies is almost a mute point and I should get over it and just allow all cookies.

I'll give it another go when they get the extension support added in.

My dealbreaker was that I like to snap my windows. If I snap to one side and then close, it will open full screen the next time. It needs a better window position memory.

Well to be honest, windows memory position has be an issue since xp days... it never seems to remember where it was last.

I have tried edge, but for me I always keep going back to FireFox... not sure why

Internet cookies are a disgrace to the real thing. How dare they try and impersonate such a fine delicacy. So glad the internet hasn't corrupted the name Pizza or Chicken Wings yet.

No Edge - no problem

I tend to agree, been on 10 a awhile now, but I guess I've avoided it more or less.

I really haven't tried it at all I guess.

Still stick to Firefox here.

I use firefox with foxit to print web pages to pdf
