well heres the problem, when i bootup my computer it says floppy failed, and when i try to install a program or game from a cd it sais blah blah is not valid for win32 aplication
Either your floppy drive is bad (imagine that being a a suggested problem...) or your cable is bad or loose or your controller on the motherboard is bad.when i bootup my computer it says floppy failed
very descriptive problem. Lots of helpful information. "blah blah blah" is excessively helpful. I know exactly what the problem is; it's blah blah to do with the blah blah blah... Seriously, a little more info may get you a little more help.and when i try to install a program or game from a cd it sais blah blah is not valid for win32 aplication
The power lead to the floppy drive must go on the right way,if you put the power lead to the floppy the wrong way round it will kill the floppy drive
I thought the LED light would usually stay lit all the time when the power cord is plugged in wrong. When the power cable is the right way, the LED light will come on only when the floppy drive is accessed.
