I am not sure if it is me or not, but it seems that whenever any posts about needing help or trying to find answers on teh Asus CUSL2 motherboard, we just get overlooked. As most of the users of board already found out whenever you overclock to above 140mhz fsb you lose both agp 4x and memory transfer bandwidth drops. People have been working on this now for awhile trying to fix it but we have no support from any of the big reviewers of companies. With both an understanding of the I815E chipset and some good programming knowledge we have found that with editing the pci registers and making a binary file with them in it. Using stuffpcr before windows loads you can get back 4x agp and the up the memory bandwidth back to were it should be. I can post links for any who is interested in learning and trying for themselves, it is just very dishearting that no one including Anandtech, Sharkyextreme, Asus, Tomshardware, and many others did not see this in their reviews and have not replied or have choosen to reply back saying "it is an older video card and it does not support 4x mode", and "the memory bandwidth problem is from using cas3 pc133 ram instead". Well both are wrong, I run an Asus CUSL2 with a p3 733 o/c to 934(thats 170mhz fsb) with Muskin Rev 2 PC 133 Cas 2 ram, video being a Elsa Geforce 2 GTS 32meg. With the Asus board you can run at 133/100/33 and than take that up to 170/137/41 so i am still running the ram at 2-2-2 timings. For these people to rating this board the best or one of the best I do not think they did the research into it needed before posting a review that would point hundreds of people to making it the final choice.
I can also post the email sent to me by Henry Kuo, Anandtech Motherboard Reviewer, stating that it is my ram and video card before even doing any research on this. I am just trying to help people not start a war.
