I get the same problem, any changes I try and make in my profile will automatically revert to whatever was there before, I cannot change my avatar or anything.

I'm having the exceeded-length sig problems as well, even though my sig is only supposed to be 237 chars long.

I noticed when I checked my sig, that all the fusetalk code was showing up as HTML code. Once I turned it back in to Fusetalk code, all was fine.

I have problems with my sig too. I also notice everyones email has "REMOVE" in it. I've had the same sig for many years now and I can't use it any more. :disgust:

[EDIT]

Got my sig fixed. However now I get this JRun Server Error when I try to update.

Oh well, I'll just wait for all the bugs to be worked out.

That's a security device; it keeps most crawlers from harvesting email addresses.

Guys, this was an issue with moving the bb code from one field to another, update your sigs again using bb code and it should be fine. You will notice some of you have <a href etc which is the issue.

Thanks for fixing this (and all the other stuff you've done so far), Jason.

When I first logged in to the new forums my old sig said this:
Don't assume malice for what stupidity can explain
<a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=38&amp;threadid=954453">1 = 0.9999......</a> = Locked <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
<a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=42&amp;threadid=1286264">BAN dxkj copycats.</a> Don't let them lock our threads. [B]Yours[/B] may be next!

I changed it to this:
Don't assume malice for what stupidity can explain
[L=1 = 0.9999......]http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=38&amp;threadid=954453[/L] = Locked :(
[L=BAN dxkj copycats.]http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=42&amp;threadid=1286264[/L] Don't let them lock our threads. [B]Yours[/B] may be next!

The only difference is that the smilies in the sig no longer work.

For some reason this (<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> ) still displayed the smilie correctly, but I can't switch back to it anymore.

I see. So does this mean I have to manually remove "REMOVE" when I want to email someone?
