It is NOT a Vista upgrade CD.
This is a completely new rig, so the HDD is clean as is everything. In the BIOS, the board sees everything there is to see.
So I boot the PC, and since the HDD is empty, it searches for a boot CD. I put the Vista Home Premium DVD (OEM) into it, and it boots from it.
I get the "Windows is loading files..." screen, and it loads.
Then I have the Windows green progression bar.
So far everything is good...
Then we get to a blue/green background, and nothing happens. I don't get the hourglass followed by the window with the options and all the rest.
I tried it in my other PC, it went alright. So I thought it could be a DVD drive problem. Swapped the DVD players, and it doesn't work more.
What do you think could be the problem?
