i just picked up a 100 pack spindle of those for $36 shipped from shop4tech... you need to find the 10% off coupon code, but its pretty easy to find (just google 'shop4tech coupons' and it should be the first result).

Why not just go to Worst Buy and pick up some top-o-the-line TY's for $20, no rebates, no shipping?

I think the extra $4 is worth it for the quality discs...

Thats exactly what I did. I picked up 200 of them, made in Japan, Ty's. Burn at 16x on my NEC3500.

If you prefer 8x DVD-R's, I received 100 Velocity from Amazon today that were Prodisc F01. Look for the item called "STI Velocity 8x 4.7 GB DVD-R Spindle (100 Discs)". (Of course, there is no guarantee that the spindle you purchase will be the same.)

I received a 100 pack of Velocity DVD+R from Amazon and they are Mitsubishi MCC-003.

They are completely without any labeling.

dvd+r is the only way to go, its faster on most drives

1.30min faster for full dvd then dvd-r on my optorite

Tax at 8% makes it about .48 cents a disc - pretty good for an everyday NOT SALE price from a b&m. Its a good price when you're in a hurry, for premium discs. I'm not saying Sams is a hot price, but it definitely puts everything into persepective. I do my grocery shoppin at sam's so its not out of the way for me.
