Program to convert

Hi all

I am writing because I'm looking for a program to convert a lot of .flv file to .avi or .mpg, maybe that automatically choose the best setting.

I've already tried Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter, Total Video Converter and Xilisoft Video Converter but both give the same result: audio is not synchronized with the video.

I have looked for other programs and I tried Media Coder (It give me an error like "incorrect parameters for lame mp3"), Riva Encoder (convert only one file at time), Super (Gives me a System incompatibility error), media-convert.com (online convertion so very slow), Free FLV Converter 1.3 (very slow), Any Video Converter e Simple Mencoder Shell GUI (create a speed up video with an audio not synchronized).

Really I don't know what to do now, maybe my PC has a problem?
Does someone has an idea to convert them in the right way?

Free FLV Converter from Koyotesoft works for me.

If you use Firefox, you can install Download Helper .. it has a converter built in now.
Or if you want a pay program, try ConvertxtoDVD ... very good

Internet Video Converter says incompatible video.
Isquint does not exist for windows.
Koyote Free Mp3 Wma Converter convert only audio: not video.
Download Helper for Firefox does non convert video offline.
ConvertxtoDVD creates audio not synchronized with the video.

I'm having trouble with that one also :^/. I have to do a bunch of running today, so I won't be able to fool with it for awhile. I'll work on it later though, and update this thread whether I get it working or not.

Alright, I've just about given up on this. I've downloaded several programs, and also tried some manual tweaking to get the audio synced, and I haven't had any luck :^(

What's the intended purpose of converting the video to .avi? If you just want to watch it offline on your computer VLC player will play the .flv files. If you want it for an mp3 player, I don't know... I can't get a decent conversion. The YouTube videos I've converted have worked perfectly.. This one OTOH :^/

Silly video anyway, I like it :^)
