It won't play on current AMD hardware. But with DX 11 it should be oK once AMD gets it together. NV is in bad shape here when it comes to this game engine.

Nothing on there says anything about Intel.
Unless you are just talking about Intel aquiring the company developing the engine...
Its a cool video, but im not seeing what this has to do with anything.[/q]
Well in HD on my 26" I am seeing great motion blur , softshadows and pyhsics. I think that video Shows off alot . I am a little surprized that intel didn't show water. Because it is beautiful . Reflections are prefect . Illusion of depth and location outstanding. Maybe on the 3rd of april Intel will release that demo.

Well I can't say anything other than whats known . But Project Offset game is exclusive to Intel . It won't play on current AMD hardware. But with DX 11 it should be oK once AMD gets it together. NV is in bad shape here when it comes to this game engine.

You're saying it will only run on Larrabee?

I don't want to go Project Offtopic here, but I think Nemesis 1 is insinuating that since Intel owns Project Offset, any physic runtimes we see are based on Havok. By extension, I think he's implying that since Intel owns it, nVidia won't be able to run any advanced physics that it might have.

I think you have not paid attention . Intel said along time ago this would be exclusive to intel hardware. Not saying AMD won't beable to run it. But not without DX11. and time.
Nv engine really isn't suited to this game.
So wouldn't that put them in the same boat as AMD? Needing DX11 hardware and the DX11 API?It may run the game latter but on current tech not much chance.

So Intel said this will be exclusive to themselves, but you're saying AMD will be able to run it provided that they have DX11 hardware and when DX11 is out. Right?

What do you mean, "Nv engine?"

Well, the title of your thread is misleading. I was under the impression that it's considered news because Offset was being run on Intel hardware.Originally posted by: Nemesis 1
Thats what makes this news worthy. This is the first demo since Intel bought them.Originally posted by: GundamSonicZeroX
