My wife made a recording of her friend's gamelon orchestra. She asked me to burn it to CD. Our CD burner is flaky so I have to listen to all 53 minutes of it to make sure there aren't any issues with the burn. I hate gamelon. The gods hate gamelon. The 2004 tsunami was the gods telling the Indonesians to knock that shit off. F' I hate gamelon. Only 48 more minutes to go. Must...not...use...hammer drill....on....my...forehead.

I thought Gamelon was that evil planet in Star Blazer (Anime), that sent all of those radioactive meteors to the Earth. You mean, those evil Gamelons, make music too? And it's just as painful as being bombarded with meteors? Who knew.

Edit: Btw, most CD-burning programs (well, decent ones), have a "verify burn" feature. I know that CD-Audio doesn't have the greatest ECC capabilities, but you could use EAC to re-rip the burned CD, and compare tracks using the command-line "FC /B".

I just heard gamelon for the first time and hopefully the last. "I'll burn it but you might want to listen to it before you give it to your friend" should have been the proper response to your wife.
