I beg to differ, Trump is actually killing it with the economy which is all that matters. Don't get duped by the mainstream media's distractions about racism, misogyny, sexism, otherwise you've taken the bait. Look at what Trump has actually DONE.Allow me to start off by mentioning that Trump beat Hillary the very same way he beat all of the other Repubs that were in the running. Hillary is in very distinguished company with her loss to Trump.
Trump won his primary and the general by blustering and lying a whole lot more and at a level that his competition wouldn't dare go to. He made promises any sane person knew was impossible to keep, like making Mexico pay for his (their) wall. He got/gets away with his incessant lying because he's convinced enough voters/supporters that his lying, his childish assaults against his competition/enemies, his acrimonious sarcastically laced innuendo, (birtherism anyone?) his adulterous lifestyle, his financial difficulties and his many financial dealings with the Russians were things that should be totally ignored in favor of the false promises he made and the hate/fear he cultivated in those who were/are strangely attracted to such vapid rhetoric.
He surely didn't run on policy, or factual reasoning where any of his competitors would eat him up alive. He ran on stirring the emotions of a demographic, making them angry, making them wanting to look for and then hang all of their grievances on the victim of Trump's choosing. He ran a campaign that involved hate and fear, jingoisms and absolutely not on anything of substance that could actually benefit the middle class and the poor, but rather what he could actually get away with lying about. And since he can now get away with lying about anything and everything he can think of there's no limit to what he can get away with as far as what his base will allow him to. For example, he's convinced his base that Putin of all people "is a fine man".
I mean, all anybody has to do is compare those many grandiose promises he made to the working class and what he's actually done for them in a positive meaningful way and then compare that with those bountiful money grabbing tax cuts and write-offs he's given himself and his fellow aristocrats from the donor class.
I understand that you're committed to Trump and I don't personally hold that against anyone who does. I have close friends that support Trump for a single reason or another but I just can't ignore, as they do, the many damaging things Trump has already done to the nation and how he has failed to make good on those promises he made to the working class that involved improving in any meaningful and lasting way their quality of life and their prospects for a better future for themselves.
What he has given his supporters for the most part has nothing of what I just previously mentioned, but very much so in the way of those many emotionally driven issues that he keeps front and center in their minds such as stopping those murderous rapist brown illegals from crossing our borders, tacitly supporting the racists, Nazi's and KKK groups that and most of all, defending the nation against those evil godless Democrats who would freely open our borders "like Obama did" to any and all of those "murderous latino gang members that rape and terrorize Americans" any time they wish.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act alone:
Look at 2017:
- The first major tax reform in 30 years.
- As the economy grows, federal revenues are increasing. April 2018 had a record surplus of $214 billion.
- Over 500 companies (507) have announced bonuses, wage increases, and new investments.
- Businesses have invested $482 billion in new, American projects and employees.
- More than 4.8 million workers received increased wages or bonuses (3.7% of all private workers).
- Provided $1.5 trillion in tax cuts to individuals.
- American families received $3.2 trillion in gross tax cuts and saw the child tax credit double.
- A family of four making $73,000 will get a cut of over $2,000-cutting their taxes in half.
- Nearly doubled the standard deduction.
- Repealed Obamacare’s burdensome individual mandate.
- The bill provides a 20% deduction for small business income, which means $415 billion tax cut.
- The President lowered the corporate tax rate from the highest in the industrialized world (35%) to 21%.
During his first year, nearly 3 million new jobs were created since January 2017 and the unemployment rate fell to 3.8 percent, the first time below 4% in 18 years.
Other things:
- The manufacturing industry created over 300,000 jobs.
- 337,000 construction jobs have been created since President Trump took office, and construction employment stands at its highest level since June 2008.
- Fourteen states reached record low unemployment rates.
- The African American unemployment rate reached its lowest ever recorded.
- Job openings reached 6.6 million, the highest level ever recorded. This competition should drive wage growth.
- Jobless claims reached the lowest level in 45 years (1973).
- The number of people dependent on food stamps has fallen by 2.6 million or 6.2% since January 2017.
- The number of people receiving unemployment benefits is running at the lowest level in 45 years.
- Average 3% growth the last three quarters- under President Obama, annual growth averaged 1.9%.
When it comes to the economy and jobs, this guy simply gets shit done. Obama didn't do this much for the economy in 8 years.

Nobody talks about Trump's achievements and it's already a long list. Everything else you said is secondary to the economy and he has delivered on that front which is why he was voted into the WH in the first place. Hillary wasn't going to get these kinds of results nor keep as many campaign promises as Trump has.
One of the last things Pruitt did before leaving...he gave an order that EPA will not enforce sales caps on gliders--full-size trucks sold as new with old rebuilt engines that don't need emissions standards and emit up to 55x more pollutants. Glider companies are bankrolling GOP candidates in Oklahoma, who lobbied for the rule change against the interests of basically everyone else.

My take...just another reason why we need more progressives in Congress. They shod be enacting laws that close these loopholes for good and can help clarify EPA's mission.
Sadly, given that Pruitt was on the take when he was Oklahoma's AG, that last "screw you" to the environment isn't surprising. Even though his current replacement at the EPA isn't that much better, I'm somewhat comforted knowing that Pruitt may not have much of a political future left. He'll probably 'just' join one of the companies that was bribing him, which might limit the further damage he can do.
