PS Vita: Memory Stick was too cheap

Looks like I was right and the reason why Sony invented a new propietary memory card format for the Vita was that their existing overpriced propietary memory card format, Memory Stick, wasn't expensive enough. It'll cost $30 for a 4G card up to $120 for 32GB. And you'll need to buy one of their memory cards because the Vita doesn't doesn't come with any storage of its own.

That soured me off the Vita entirely. MSPD cards were way overpriced, so let's charge more for what's essentially the same thing. Come on boys. If you want to push downloadable gaming, you've gotta make the storage media affordable.

Glad I bought a 3DS and iPhone 4S. Getting a Vita is redundant now.

No kidding... especially since you can get a class 10 32GB microSD for ~$50-60 if you catch a sale.

typical sony bs. i hate the ps3 controllers because the batteries are not easy to change. i hated the sony eReader because the battery was hard to change. they just expect you to buy a new one. not a fan. a game has to be spectacular and a ps3 exclusive for me to play the ps3 and that is a rarity. they are despicable.
