Sorry, not to thread crap, but I bought this game when it first came out (wopping $39.99). The cartoonish graphics idea is cool for 10 minues. When you play the game, you would want to kill the person who was responsible for the super-crappy control. You would skid if you looked at the controller wrong.
Did they adjust the control for the PS2 version as well? I was looking forward to this game, but after the terrible reviews I stayed away from it. If they adjust the controls for the PS2 version, it shouldn't be bad at this price...
i bought it a couple of weeks ago when it was first posted
it's not a cel-shaded version of gran tourismo -- a friend of mine (suicide bob) told me "aaaa. the online doesn't work and they made the game too drift-happy!"
i'm like i'm all about some drifting, so i said phooey and bought it anyway -- no regrets yet
it's just like probably any other racing game: learn the track and dial the physics
it is not pick up and play though (imo)
