A lot of people in this thread would rate LED's over NKRO if you gave them the opportunity, it looks like.
OP, you can get USB-to-PS2 adapters relatively cheap and they should function in UEFI if you run into a situation where your USB device isn't recognized.
The real issue isn't so much that USB allows for a maximum of 10-key rollover, but rather that most (damned near all) USB keyboards on the market offer 3, 4, 5 or 6 KRO instead of 10. On "gaming" models sometimes the advertised rollover revolves around special accommodations made for WASD, ignoring the fact that a lot of gamers keybind to different key alignments, most commonly ESDF. This suddenly makes advertised 6KRO that revolved around WASD insufficient in a lot of cases.
Given the choice, I'd always prefer full NKRO but honestly true-10 (non wasd specific) would be sufficient if keyboard companies would bother implementing it into their usb models. Aside from Microsoft's Sidewinder series, almost none do though.

And gamers. PS/2 allows for NKRO (N-key rollover) while USB allows for a max of 10 simultaneous keys.
