EBGames.com has Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 for the PlayStation on pre-order for only $19.99! Not sure if this is a pricing mistake considering that it took a long time for Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero to drop in price. This game is scheduled to be released on 11/18.

If I remember correctly the MSRP for this game is only going to be $20. Could be wrong though...too lazy to look for the press release right now .

i bought japanese windows just to play the online version! wonder if crave will keep the japanese plates for once this time... if they do, i'll buy a ps2

Yeah I just checked out the press release and MSRP is listed as "under $20" ... Don't know why they're making it so cheap, but thats a great deal for a good game. I loved TXR2 for the Dreamcast and TXR0 for the PS2 ... Hope that TXR3 is just as good! Too bad they didn't make an Xbox version with Live support.

Is this the sequel to TXR0 because in Japan there's a TXR0 One and Kaido battle. I'm thinking TXR3 might be the US version of Kaido battle because it doesn't mention anything about 3 way race which TXR0 One has.

Wow this is exciting! I've been waiting for this for a while.

I believe this is what's known as TXR01 in Japan. It is a true sequel to TXR0, not a different game like Kaido Battle. If so, this edition adds LICENSED CARS (that's right no more PREDUDEs or MADDAs...sob) and more freeway sections!! I sure hope the physics received a tune up; it was interesting going from TXR2 physics to TXR0 physics, maybe this latest one will combine the best of the previous two.

txr01 for the dreamcast had the same feel, music, looks as the ps2 verz -- like when running into a barrier, hoo-hah!
i bet the fans in japan complained that txr2 changed too much, so they changed it back
i'm gonna see if i can get one in akihibara cheap, phooey on crave, the website gots NO real description

doesn't either inital d or wangan midnight use the same game engine as ps2 txr? i played a few months or so ago @ sega go-go, and it seemed like it did...

yeah, Kaido Battle with Initial D music/beat would be great,, you know with the AE86 drifting down the hill in all four seasons.

oh did anyone check out the US version of Initial D? They call it the trick out version , with no more Initial D music, no more real car sound, dump mirror flip flop 4 panel split screen effects. They could of spend the money elsewhere.

yes! THAT is what makes me so mad! THIS is what was supposed to be the reason for the release date being so late? shaky cam?! no extras really either (compared to Japanese release)

so far the two cheapest places i've found the dvd are best buy $17.99 and circuit city $15.99 (second vol. first was $14.99 @ both i think)

I have a $15 credit still at EB for when I was trading some old games for Madden 2004.. I remember getting about $25 for trading in TXR0.. I guess I'll buy TXR3 when it's out.
