Ha ha. Well played.

This is a good deal. It has the advantage of no sales tax, unlike the CC deal. However, if your state sales tax isn't too bad, and you order online through fatcash (2%), the CC deal might be better for you. I went with CC because I wanted the extra controller instead of the DVD remote. I wouldn't use it anyway once I get my Harmony set up for the PS3. Whatever floats your boat.

Much better than the CC deal if your state has a high tax rate. In CA, taxes would be about $40, which wipes out the free controller it comes with. So for $540 from amazon you can get everything you get from the CC deal plus the remote and Memento.

Ya this deal comes down to how many people want Memento. I personally rather take advantage of CC's no interest for 18 months by using their card and the promo code 5707 while getting a free controller that you're gonna need anyway.

what is fatcash?

It's the cash back you get from going to CC through chubby-billfold. If you have an account that is.

if you really want the extra controller, its $40 on amazon. Pretty much what you will save on sales tax. plus if you sign up for an amazon credit card you get $30 free and get triple points. every 2500 points is $25, so your 60% of the way there.

I just ordered this, with the Resident Evil movie, I went to check the order status and the PS3 was "Shipping Soon" and the movie + remote was separate. I asked amazon about swapping memento back in, they said they could do that. I canceled the Resident Evil, but the -19.95 promotion stayed on the PS3 so I also canceled the Remote, neither of which I really wanted. So now it shows up as PS3 $499-24.95-19.95=$455.09. Possibly A very good deal if you don't want the extras. But YMMV depending on shipments.
