PS3 On a Dell 3007wfp

Hello everyone.

I have a question hopefully someone could help me out with. I have a ultrasharp 3007 i use for all my everyday needs i.e movies, games (mostly WoW), the web, blah blah blah.

I know the 3007 supports HDCP.
I was hoping to play my ps3 on this beast. But no go. I'm assuming this monitor's native res is the 2560X1600 and doesn't have internal scaling. But is there any way i could get my ps3 on this thing. Like a video card with HDMI in?
I'm using a 8800gt right now.

get an hdmi to dvi adapter...my 2407 handles the ps3 just fine using hdmi-dvi.

I've actually tried a hdmi to dvi adapter but nothing, Monitor doesn't register the imput

Component cables should work. (I think) You may have to play around with the scaling option on the monitor if available.

The 3007 (either version) does not have video scaling. There are only 2 resoulutions that it properly supports.

There are 25660x1600 and 1280x800.

Unfortunately neither of these are output resolutions available on the PS3 so the monitor will never work with it.

No @ 1080p , maybe a below resolution :! Dell went supper cheap with video processing chip with 3007fpw :!
