If you don't care about any games with the system, then the 12GB isn't a bad purchase. It's the same as the ones with a HDD, but with the flash on the motherboard. You can put a hard drive in it but, if you do, you lose access to the 12GB.
But, if I had a choice between the 12GBSS for $150 and the 250GBSS with Last of Us and Arkham Origins for $200, I know which one I'd pick every day of the week.
The bundle deal is a steal, you can sell the games on Ebay if you do not care about either one and if your lucky you might get $30-50 each, which leaves the cost of the 250GB around $100-$140 excluding tax if you bought it local.
Stores should have plenty, but at those prices I am not too sure if they will be easily found?
