Get the ps4 man. The 7950 should be able to game well now.. Save up a bit and when new video cards come out this summer buy a cheap 390x or 980

Are there specific PS4 exclusives that you really want to play? If yes, get the ps4.

As for GPU upgrade, we are so close to 14/16nm chips that it is a difficult time to go spending a big chunk of cash on a GPU.

If you really must upgrade (your games aren't running as fast/or at quality settings as you like) Then I would advise you sell the 7950 and try and pick up a second hand 290x level (290/390/390x/780ti/970) card.

Avoid crossfire/SLI, it really isn't worth the hassle on mid level cards.

Sell HD7950 for $70. Should be able to find an R9 390/GTX970 for $275-280 and PS4 for $300-350.

$300-350 PS4
$275-280 390/970
- $70 resell 7950
= $505-560 out of pocket

That means with your budget, it's possible to get both a new GPU and a PS4.

IMO, the only reason to buy a PS4 is for exclusives, sports games and multi-player games you play online (with your friends). Otherwise, it's actually better to buy a 390/970 and spend the rest on PC games.

PS4 have some good exclusive games,
a single 7950 is sufficient for current games,

it makes sense to buy a PS4 if you want the exclusive games, and to wait for the new gen of graphics cards later this year to upgrade your PC.

Buy a Wii U, or a Vita.

Hope that's sarcasm.

Vita = dead system with almost no good games
Wii U = at current prices, it's a giant rip off. Better to just wait it out until Q4 2016 and buy the NX that could be backwards compatible with Wii U games. Either way, it's nuts to spend $300 US on a Wii U when the system is dead.

PS4 just gives you more of the same games you can already play on your (powerful!) PC. Wii U or Vita provides something different, and massive back catalogues. I prefer a bit of variety *shrug*
