PS4 or XBOX One ?

I canceled the order on Amazon and placed an order at Best buy for pickup tomorrow after work.
Luckily I woke up early when I did or else it may have gotten charged on the card where I updated my expiration date.

Good thing best buy was still taking orders for it as the standard edition is no longer on Amazon. It actually ended up being $40 at Best buy because it told me I had rewards certificates at check out.

My buddy is also going to a store Friday to get it so I would have just had him come over to check it out if I would not have been able to grab a copy.

My personal preference would be for Xbox One there are some exclusives which bend my level of interest toward PS4

I own both and without a doubt the PS4 is the better choice for games. I may power on my Xbox One maybe once a year. The PS4 gets used all the time. Most games I would play on the Xbox I can play on PC. Sony has the best library and best exclusives.

My advise: look for both and try to understand which console has more exclusive games. As from my experience, PS4 has more exclusive games, so the problem is solved. I'm playing PS for many years already. Had PS3 for 6 years and few months ago upgraded to PS4 and I admire it.

I have a PS4 now and have been thinking of either a PS4 Pro or an XBox One X. Thing is, I mainly only play Call of Duty but I do want to start playing some other games like Rainbow 6, Halo, and Forza. Right now I play COD in my office space, and my PS4 is connected to a PC monitor. I tried moving the PS4 over to my bedroom and connected it to my TV(X900E) and while it looks great I never realized how much difference the input lag makes when playing these types of games. My PC monitor is rated at 16ms and my TV is at 33ms and it makes a significant difference IMO. I don't know if I should spend the money. I guess for games like Forza it would be OK but any FPS might be kind of pointless considering I only play multiplayer and don't bother with the single-player campaign. I've never played any of the PS4 exclusives either so don't care about that.

Obvious solution is to buy a new TV and an Xbox One X.

If you are sticking with the current setup then I am not sure it would be worthwhile if you are focusing on FPS. You could get 1080p/60 mode in some games with the X/Pro to play on your monitor.

Yeah I just bought this TV, probably not buying another until they can get the input lag down to match the lowest latency monitors(if that's even possible).

If your monitor is freesync capable the One X supports it (think support is out of beta).

I've been gaming on PC since long , never been an owner of consoles before, but i want to buy one now.(Just for the purpose of enjoying it, not that I'm bored with PC gaming)
