PS4 Slim spotted in the wild?

I have an external hooked up to my XB1... not for storage space constraints but because there were a lot of benchmarks (load times) showing an external was just plain faster. So, I've had one since the first month or 2 when I bought it.

Which is still baffling to me how come they run slow SATA when they could have used the faster interface. An SSD hardly makes a difference and it should scream.

They also use 5400RPM drives.

Actually an SSD connected via USB 3.0 shows a big difference in load times.

Uh it was obvious I was talking about internal drives and as luck would have it the ps4 can't use external drives anyway. Also it seems that even slow drives via usb on the XB1 are faster than the internal by a bit. I mean on my PC I barely have time to read the stuff on load screens in the witcher 3 and on ps4 it sits for seemingly forever. An SSD should make a very large difference but due to the interface used, it doesn't.

I threw in a 1TB SSHD drive in my PS4. The price difference for an SSD and not huge gain to justify it since like said, the PS4 can't take full advantage of the SSD anyways.

I'm sure they are going to have a larger HD in there. It's not even officially announced. Plus they make good money on charging $100 extra for the 1tb drive.
