No.

http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/09/18/ux-things-i-hate-about-android/

In just the time I've spent with Android, I know that the behavior of Back is unpredictable. You just might have a selective / delusional memory.

Wow great analysis. On my gnex the back button scrolls thru a million pages of an app and/or closes the app depending on how many pages of said are open. So switching to a random app that's open, you don't really know what's gonna happen.

The recent app button seems to miss things occasionally as described as well.

The app navigation is a hot mess as well - some apps have the 3dot menu on top, some on the bottom, some combine stuff and add icons in either top or bottom.

The best thing about it was definitely the ol' iPhone i love you (When Android phones were getting much bigger) "I don't want it bigger anyways, it fits my hands perfectly"... then iPhone 5 comes "OMG ITS BIGGER!!!! I LOVE IT!"

Victims of marketing.

Keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile I'll continue to easily use my iPhone 5 with one hand while you fumble around with your S3 or phablet.

That's mostly because it can't multitask. If you can only actively run one app at a time, of course you will have better control of battery life.

Then point out that it can't multitask. You might have a valid argument at that point.

When I sold my iPhone 4S on craigslist I got 5 offers in a week asking me to trade for their S3. They would also offer cash on top of the S3

Looks like some people prefer a year and a half old iPhone to one of the latest and greatest android phones. Its even funnier they would give me the phone AND PAY ME to take the S3 off their hands.

Sam Biddle is a notorious tool, and an Apple fanatic.

One of his most recent rants about how huge the Galaxy Note is, and how it can only appeal to people with "ginormous" hands caused a lot of uproar on the site.

I think he's basically a troll, who makes these inflammatory statements to drive up site traffic.

At this point in time, I'm not even reading articles if I see his byline.

BTW, Android still doesn't have an answer to AirPlay. And no, DLNA is not the same.

airplay sucks. apple tv sucks. itunes sucks. I was given the responsibility of making a music mix for a small party this past new years eve. The hosts have a laptop with itunes installed, an ipad, and an apple tv. I figured since apple is supposed to be idiot proof, i could just create a list in itunes, transfer all the songs from my usb to itunes, and play it on their sound system via apple tv. well it played....1 song. Then it would just give an error message saying the specified action cannot be taken or something like that. Nothing else. No error code, no descriptive message saying what is going wrong. Nothing. Looked up and followed guides on google on how to sync apple tv and itunes. Nothing. Updated itunes and appletv. Nothing. What a POS!

I just got my first Apple product ever (iPad mini), and while it is very intuitive and stable software, I'm disappointed in a lot of simple functionality that is missing. Why can't I open up videos stored on my home network's server? This may be asking too much, but it would be really cool if I could have stable remote access to the desktop. That way on the couch I could open up a movie and play it on the monitor. I have used third party apps and they are clunky and awkwardly integrated

I've come to expect this because Windows has a lot more depth it seems. If you're willing to learn you can do a lot of useful things. Anyway just a general observation as a first time Apple user

Did you try the PocketCloud app? We have been installing it on ipads at my job and everyone seems to like it, even RDP'ing through VPN works fine.

Sounds like user error. You're using it wrong!

"It just works"

Well first off he needs root it. Then he needs to look up the latest stable CM ROM. Then you gotta try this one app that can stream music. If that doesnt work then there is this other app that might work. But make sure you type in the name exactly right or you might get a malware infested fake version that wont work at all. After a couple hours of trial and error, he might be able to get it to work. Then it will break for no reason about two months down the line.

Rinse, wash, repeat.

I would have made the playlist in iTunes and hooked the laptop directly to the sound system. I have no problems playing my iTunes library through my Apple TV though. *shrug*

I'm white, not poor (far from rich though) and own an android phone.

Sorry I don't believe in buying lesser hardware for more money because it has an "i" on it.

O i also forgot to mention I would probably just end up holding the iphone wrong anyways.

Reading some of the replies here of either Android fanboys or just unfortunate ignorant people, why is the argument of expensive being used?

The iPhone costs the same as any other top of the line Android phone (sometimes even less). This argument is factually incorrect.

It may be true of the iPad and Macs but it isn't when it comes to the iPhone.

Good description of your posts here really.

Although "bullshit, misinformation, repeat" would be more accurate.

As if my experience with android and opinion of it is any less valuable than yours.

Maybe one day you will actually provide something beyond useless one liners devoid of any content or value.

Wellll...it kind of is with the iPhone. The only iPhones that are cheap are the older model ones, and they have single core processors, small screens, and only support 3G. The ones worth getting are ungodly expensive off contract, and even then it's not the best hardware available.

So, there is another way of looking at it...

At least my one's liners are short, to the point and most importantly not bullshit.

Not a solution. Since that would've meant having the laptop near the TV the whole time and no one would be able to use it for anything else.

I dont doubt that airplay works for you and many others. But apple touts that their system is very intuitive and "just works." I found that to be highly misleading. At least tell me why it's not working!

I think I take criticism of my penis less personally that some of you do of your phone.

iPhone: expensive, restricted
Android: cheap, glitchy

These are the facts. Get the fuck over it. (also- my penis: magnificent)

What are you talking about? They've overhauled it immensely.

rofl you are trolling with that right?
Apple is garbage now.

I would never give up my GS3 or Note2 for an Apple POS.
they havent innovated in years.

and that story was pure flamebait knowing that high end androids cost even more than Iphones off contract.
