PSA - Another Paypal scam making rounds...

just received this email. it looked legit at first until I checked out the header. Here's a cut'n'paste:

Dear paypal user, We would like to inform you that we are upgrading our server to install a better protection software. So please click here and fill in the registration form again to renew your account.

Paypal Administration.

It was sent from a hotmail account and cc'd to many others. just an fyi.

I love how these idiots who come up with email scams (and virus'....or is it virii) can't write a sentence to save their lives.

I got that email the other day and replied with something to the effect of.

"Nice try.

Go FVCK YOURSELF"

I even got back a reply that looked for real! :Q

Persistent little bastards at any rate...

You can forward those (w/headers would be best I imagine) to spoof@paypal.com, they will be checked out by paypal then.

I did that the first time I got this mail.

Now I just want to let them know I'm on to them.
