By "went away" it means he likely paid a fine and court costs but didn't get points. Next time don't speed, Dave.

and you know he won't own up to it, so he makes it seem like he got his way instead. of course lying is pretty much par for the course for dave, as well as martyrdom.

That's the point, I was not speeding.
I had two witnesses.

in your OP you said you were going 40 in a 35 but were cited for 50...so...yes you were?

No, I was not doing 40. No where near 40.
I had the cruise control set at 35 approaching the little dinky town.
On the curve the road slopes down quite a bit. I noticed it started to go just barely above 35 and I put my foot on the brake putting it back on 35 exactly to my speedometer.
I may have possibly briefly touched 37 miles per hour. That is not 40.
The cop wrote me up for 47 in a 35 which put the fine at $92.50 plus court costs.
If you want to call 2 miles per hour for less than a 10th of a mile you must be an angel.
You support the cop writing up the bogus speed?

The issue you stated was that you didnt speed when you freely admit you do.
Do I think someone should be pulled over for 2mph over? Hell no, do I think you are a conspiracy theorist and often a liar and bender of the facts? Hell yes!!
Look up a few posts, you said you maxed at 37 not 35, I think we both know that is technically speeding. Besides, we both know cruise control was made by the russians am i rite. I dont understand your last point? How much do I get paid to work or am I supposed to have some alter job restricting the sale of tinfoil? We are all part of the american machine even cute lil conspiracy theorists like you. Obviously your theories are either flat out wrong or incorrect because you haven't been dealt with yet.Originally posted by: dmcowen674

Where did I ever admit I "freely" do?
Just the opposite, I always use my cruise control even on secondary roads as low as 30 mph (that is slowest setting the cruise will kick in)
There is no conspiracies, it is people hiding behind power and corruption.
Of course it is obvious you support that. How much are you getting paid to screw people?

"If I was doing 4 mph over the limit, big fcking deal.
Show me the safety issue with that. Show me justificaton for speed trap.
There is a HUGE fvkin difference between 4 mph $32.50
Vs
12 mph which is $92.50 "
So you may have possibly briefly touched 37 MPH or you might have been doing 39 MPH - and when someone says 39 MPH we know they actually mean 42-45 and so we're ALMOST at 47 now, aren't we?
PS: leave it to Dave to bump his own 5 month old thread.
