He's a genuinely nice guy that actually loves his fans too. He'll get off a cell phone to talk to people that come up. Just don't be one of those "ZOMG!!!! I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN MIND IF I PULL YOUR HAIR AND JUMP ON YOU???!!!" people.
I also met Jimmy Page in a bar across the street from the Silverdome in Detroit (coincidentally) back in 1987 during his Outrider tour. He's not nearly as personable (though I hear he has been lately). Jimmy is a very suspicious person that hates being taken advantage of, so if he gets the slightest notion you want an autograph for eBay, he won't sign anything. He also will not sign anything but paper- no guitars/guitar pieces, albums, memorabilia, etc. Truthfully I just wanted to shake his hand and say "awesome show." I told him how he inspired me, he asked how long I had been playing guitar, and then made a joke about "he could have used a backup tonight" because his wrist was swollen. Made my decade
Other than that, Rush, Brett Michaels, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Squier are my other musical conquests, of which Rush and Billy are the only ones I talk about
