Got skydrive to sync Onenote Android awhile ago, but no Android skydrive app kills everything else imho. I refuse to deal with the browser just to do anything else.
But it works well for onenote.

Wait a minute... did they get rid of the 5gb sync limit? Previously it was 5gb of synced storage, 25gb of online storage, both separate.
Do we get the full 25gb sync now?

This might be nice to sync between a few Windows systems (especially with the Outlook tool).
Still waiting for that damned Google Drive to see just how all that plays out. Google APIs tend to be integrated in far reaching corners of the web.

WTF, I had 25GB yesterday, today they release this and now I'm back to only 7?

edit: I actually had to go in and upgrade it to get my 25gb back. What would have happened if I had over 7GB stored already? weird

According to PC World, they would have automatically upgraded accounts at or near that new limit.

Also, it does sound like Live Mesh (5gb sync) was done away with, and we 25gb accounts get full sync with all that storage. Plus 2gb file limits.
Still, limited support across platforms kills the sync capability, but it has become one of the better options out there.

Do you have anything stored on there? Doesn't look like in that shot. Or if you do, it's not even enough to register as a fraction of a gig.

I have a couple files. But uploading 250 megs of pics now. Hopefully that will activate my 25 free GB.

I've had 25GB on Skydrive since I first signed up, a year or so ago, or so I thought. Thanks to the OP for the heads up. Did the upgrade thing and I'm back to 25GB.

Holy shit! I've been fighting with my WindowsLive ID for a couple years now, and couldn't get logged in cause I forgot my password. I had an epiphany, and it came to me in a blinding flash of...um.. something, but I got my password! :^D

I now have 25gb of space to do something with. Maybe I'll use it to mirror GNU/Linux isos :^D

I been using Skydrive on my HD7 and frankly it stinks compared to Google's tools.
Am thinking simply because of that I may go back to Android some day.

No. They are going to cut it down to 7, but 'loyal customers' are allowed to claim the 25 GB so it doesn't get cut down to 7 when the change happens.

Apparently this is only true if you don't already only have 7 GB limit on your account.

Would it be possible to make a TruCrypt volume in .rar file format of some sort? Or create the container, fill it, then split into rar's and upload those?
