It was in the 60s when I rode in this morning and it is 72 right now. I'll be leaving here in about an hour. Perfect riding weather.

Sounds nice. I hope you made it home nice and safe!

Tuesday it took me 3.5 hours to drive 20 miles thanks to 1 measly inch of snow and a bunch of people who think that it means they need to go really really really slow so that only 1 or 2 cars get through each time the traffic light turns green. Took over an hour to get across the street two times...

I love the snow, I love the weather, but I really do not appreciate the incompetence of some of the other drivers...

Made it home with no problem.

Just in case anyone is wondering, the weather was perfect again today. Tomorrow is forecast to offer more of the same.

Very nice.

I awoke to a beautiful snowscape. I drove to work a bit late, to avoid all the traffic, and a I enjoyed a beautiful relaxing drive. It feels like real winter now, though we have only a foot and a half of snow on the ground, about 1/2 of what there was back in 2011.

Rode in to work again this morning. Temps were in the mid 50s so a bit chilly for a 50 minute motorcycle ride, heated grips help though. Should be warmer for my commute home this evening though. Planning a longer ride for Sunday with a buddy of mine.

I will tick over the 1000 mile mark on my ride home this evening.

Winter here in W. Warshington has been pretty mild. Plenty of rain...but very little snow in the mountains. That could cause problems later in the year.

The sun came out!

I had no tailgaters on the way home due to the massive chunks of ice flying off my car. WIN!

That just gave me a great idea. I need a "snow storm" button. When I press it, it vibrates the trunk cover and hard packed snow that accumulates in and around the spoiler over the year and it starts to fall off. Kinda like de-icer on planes. :awe: That would stop tailgaters dead in their tracks. But because it would be fun, it would probably be illegal too.

Snow sucks, it really does. It was cool when you were a kid because of getting school days off, but as an adult it is a pain in the butt.

I definitely want to move down south eventually. But until then I will just deal.

I see snow the same way I see poop. It happens regularly and it's just a normal part of life. Only difference is you don't get a 2 month period where you don't poop, and if you do, you should probably see a doctor.

Been snowing off and on yesterday and supposed to continue today, in MA.

Got hit for 36" that big previous storm. They're running out of places to put the snow.

California has its own version of four seasons: mud, flood , fire and earthquake.

No shit, I heard on the TV this morning that California had a storm blow in and it caused fires.

Rain, caused fires. Yes, I completely understand how.

It's just silly to hear about an event most everyone associates with water being associated with fire.

Went for a couple hikes in the mountains over the weekend. Saturday was a bit warm for perfect hiking with highs in the upper seventies. Sunday I went up another 1500ft and the weather was perfect. Sunny, highs around 70, gentle breeze. Perfect. Today is sunny, more sunny, and highs around 80F and sunny. I like sunny.

Yesterday I rode through the mountains and down into Rancho Mirage. About 200 miles round trip and temps were in the high 60s in the mountains and mid 80s in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs). It was in the mid 70s along the coast. An absolutely perfect day.

Why don't you California jerk offs take your perfect weather and jump in the ocean?

*Please post more pics of sunshine. I forgot what it looks like.

Flight back home cancelled today. Stuck in this frigid NY hellhole another day. This is my punishment for chiming in on winter weather threads. And I'm not even in the city... Stuck out by JFK (puke).

We have had nonstop beautiful weather for months. Today the snow is light, the temperatures are mild, and its nice and cloudy. I hate the sun, it burns my eyes and prolonged exposure burns my skin.

Oh man! Had some ice on the deck this morning and even on my car. Good thing it turned out to be Northern Ice. Had it been that super dangerous southern variety, I may not have made it into work today!
