After you impaled it, were you going to do a jumping side kick and we'd all see bits of dog and fence flying in the air....

man since you are fantasizing give us a little more action.

That torn pants line adds a lot of credibility and belief.

My question is if the dog served both you and your 'partner' your asses, how were you going to be able to take this dog from hell one on one, did you have quad damage you were saving?

You're a child...

Edit:
WTF?! Where'd the post go?

nvm. Time warp combined with a page switch

I would have run after the dog and then shot it when it tried to ghetto-stomp me to death.

oh reheheheallly?? then by all means, please do leave your dogs unleashed. i can handle a few bites for a small settlement. :sneaky:

no small settlements Lassie!! You will get hung with a lean which will be your financial leash the rest of your life. I hope you are a dog owner. You deserve a good financial gnarling.

I agree that they should be leashed, but dogs tend to bite people like the OP instead of me. I don't even acknowledge a vicious, barking dog. They sense my confidence and the bite never happens.

I would chase vicious dogs when I was a kid...even these huge rotties that frequently escaped their pen. They were confused because I wasn't running. The confusion would become fear/submission and they would turn-tail and leave me alone.
explain yourself. people like me? you mean nice, caring, smart, confident, brown people like me? a dog doesn't know how i post online, so explain yourself.

People who feel anxiety or apprehension around them instead of confidence/dominance. They sense it.

We have a large park/reservoir near me that allows dogs off-leash. Walkers, cyclists and dogs all seem to get along. Though every once in a while, you'll get someone from out of town afraid of dogs who goes into a tantrum that people need to leash their dogs. I've had to show them the signs with the park rules and tell them if they don't like it to go somewhere else.

My social skills are fine. The last time I was attacked by a dog was my last. My hands were coming up to grab it by the collar to impale it on a fence picket, and I held back. Due to my inaction, both me and my partner got bitten, with my partner losing blood, and getting torn pants. The wise and beautiful woman that owned the dog didn't even offer an apology.

I don't like dogs, and I don't tolerate dogs. If they stay away from me, I'll deal with it, but I'll happily kill any dog that fucks with me.

Neighbor's dog ran up on my 18 month old son from two houses away barking like crazy. My son thought it was funny, I did not. I yelled at her to leash her damn dog or I'd call animal control. She shrugged it off.

A few days later went to get mail my son in tow and the same damn thing happened. I called animal control and I assume they came and talked to her since I haven't seen that piece of shit dog in months. Her and her family are trash anyway, I don't care about them as neighbors.

ALL dogs are stupid, owners that don't know this shouldn't have dogs.

No, stupid people are stupid. You can't help that though.

I would rate that particular insult as highly innovative for an eight year-old

My family and I were walking through our neighborhood once and a dog from a house about 10 houses away saw us and came barreling toward us. It was some mix of mutt and looked fairly friendly, but you never know. Anyway, I grabbed it by the collar and hauled it back to its owner's house (they were outside grilling in the driveway).

"This your dog?"
"Yeah, don't worry he's friendly."
"No way for us to know that."
"Well I know that, which is why he's allowed to run free."
"He's not allowed to run free, actually. And maybe some people don't want your mutt jumping all over them and their kids."

We traded a few snide remarks as my family caught up and we got moving again. If I see that dog loose again, I'm holding it and calling the pound.

If a dog barks at me or my little kids I explain to the owner that I'll not hesitate to stomp it's brains out. Usually gets them to come get the nuance! Keep in mind, of course, that I only do this because I'm an internet tough-guy that's full of crap.

Here in the Bay Area, California we have a lot of very serious dog lovers. However the area is also very specific and harsh about leash laws. There are certain parks where off leash dogs are allowed and all others they are not.

However you still see 1 or 2 pricks that let their dogs off leash. Then when the dog comes up to sniff me, they say "oh sorry, don't worry though, he/she is really friendly". I usually say "Sorry, I don't care if he/she is friendly or not, I don't really appreciate your animal nosing up against me".

Interestingly enough most other dog owners will call out a dog owner who has a dog off leash. They know if they get enough complaints then the park will outlaw dogs and then all owners will suffer.

Usually the dogs are plenty well behaved though, and I actually love dogs. But I'll just tell the owner "You know that dog is supposed to be on a leash right?". They usually respond anywhere between "Ya, but he/she is nice so don't worry" to "F off, it's my dog" to just saying nothing at all.

You're not talking about the East Bay are you? Just about all of the East Bay Regional parks allow dogs off-leash.

Ya, East Bay. I guess I'm thinking more along the lines of walking/hiking trails and parks where kids play on the equipment. It's annoying when I'm walking and my kids have to move off the side of the trail b/c a dog is coming to sniff them.

But I do love dogs in general, just don't want them coming up to my kids at a park or something b/c it freaks them out a little and honestly I don't know that dog. How do I know it isn't going to freak out and snap at them? Better safe than sorry.

Also, what is the law on that though? Does it basically say they can be off leash but have to be in site of owner and have to be able to respond properly to owner's commands??

found it btw - http://www.ebparks.org/activities/dogs

I'd have to look it up but I'm pretty that they have to be under voice control. I've never had issues with dogs and their owners on the trails. I do dislike all of the horse poop you find on some trails.

edit - saw your links, thanks

for whatever reason, an old lady with these dogs won't intimidate me. I'd walk by without a sweat. A biker dude with 2 big dogs would be a different story... perhaps because I'd think the dogs would be trained differently.
