Very likely to lose it all if you do that as I'm sure you know. Odds of winning are well over 1 in 200 million.

I'm reminded of that scene in Casino where they bribe the Japanese high roller's pilot to cancel the flight so he will stay and gamble more and lose the 2 million he had won that night.

$2 MegaMillions with Megaplier option, if we win $1 million and the Megaplier is 5 we win $5 million

What is the Megaplier?

I say no to the multiplier, and just go for the big money. But if others want to, I don't mind.

We're more likely to win small prizes, so I'd say Megaply it. But given the low absolute odds, maybe a coin flip is best.

If we don't win the jackpot but win a smaller prize, we'll be glad we Megaplied it. If we win the jackpot we won't care about the Megaplier. If we don't win anything (most likely), I'm not sure anyone can argue that the Megaplier made a difference.
