So, she had the ticket but "hid it in the McDonald's where nobody would ever find it". Then the manager said she hadn't been back after she bought the ticket. Then she claimed that she put it in the safe at the McDonald's. Now she claims she's lost it.

Apparently at her press conference her hat generated a bit of buzz and it leads to an anti-Romney blog.

I would say that she's just trolling everyone and is getting paid to generate site hits; it's "viral marketing".
