This is classic Republican logic. Any disagreement means trying to overturn the election.

Trump I disagree with your trade policy. "Stop trying to overturn the election".

Trump you should be less racist and better behaved. "Stop trying to overturn the election".

We are like 6 months away from the next one. Let's give it a rest already with the overturning elections stuff particularly as the last one shows the will of the people is clearly not in his favor anyway.
Yes, this latest failed "gotcha" and all the ones before it were just a disagreement on policy!

I think the house should start impeaching Trump a second time with an extensive list of charges and go to court to bring in the witnesses. Take it to the ends of the earth even if it means destroying the integrity, the little of it that remains, of the Supreme Court. It's revolution time, seems to me, if we really mean to save our country from a Mafia Dictatorship.

Lastly, there is nothing stopping the house from continuing with the investigations you mentioned. In fact I’m very confident we’ll be hearing from Bolton and Parnas very soon.
I feel like this is the next piece of the strategy for the House. Continue to investigate, and allow information to continuously drip out. Republicans have no idea what they are covering up, and make them pay for their votes.

Hey, you forgot to post the CNN article criticizing Trump for having an all-white legal team (not a joke by the way).

Let me know when Sekulow's son is getting paid $500,000 a month working in the Ukraine because of his daddy.
Show us proof that his job and salary where because of his "Daddy". Just because that is what you have been lead to believe without proof doesn't make it fact. Also, while you are at it, show us where it is $500,000.. I believe you meant $50,000. I grantee you that Trump's kids are making millions, not thousands because of Daddy's Presidency. Only a blind buffoon would dispute that.

Aren't you from California? You haven't even had the opportunity to vote for a Republican for US Senate in 6/8/10 years due to the gerrymandering of the State and yet somehow it's the Republicans who are suppressing the vote ?
as usual you show your ignorance! You don`t know what voter suppression is....now that is classic!! hahaaa

If you had watched the coverage a bit more closely you would have seen where Chief Justice Roberts answered that exact question. In case of a tie, it would not pass.

"
Here's the exchange:
Schumer: "Is the chief justice aware that in the impeachment trial of President Johnson, Chief Justice Chase, as presiding officer, cast tie-breaking votes on both March 31 and April 2, 1868?"
Roberts: "I am, Mr. Leader. The one concerned a motion to adjourn; the other concerned a motion to close deliberations. I do not regard those isolated episodes 150 years ago as sufficient to support a general authority to break ties. If the members of this body elected by the people and accountable to them divide equally on a motion, the normal rule is that the motion fails. I think it would be inappropriate for me, an unelected official from a different branch of government, to assert the power to change that result so that the motion would succeed."
Dude,l what are you concderned about? I said it won`t happen!! You know why? Because i also watched the coverage! Not on FOX like you probably did!!

Integrity?

/shrug

A good start would be accepting Trump's presidency instead of constantly trying, and failing, to oust him.

I know: it'll never happen. That's been made very clear.
So, embrace corruption you say? It's obvious that the Republican party, or at least those that still support Trump have done just that. We just witnessed it first hand with the Impeachment. I think you have made it clear where the problem is, and it isn't the democrats. The sad part, is some day, you and many other's will realize your mistake. I just hope that it's before we are no long a democratic society, if that hasn't already been completely destroyed already due to the actions of the Current Senate.

Meet the burden of proof and we''ll talk.
Was met. Did you miss it? Many R senators confirmed it in their statements even saying that they will vote to acquit not because he's innocent, but because they don't think the offense meets the level of the punishment.

In other words, "this criminal is guilty, but should he really be punished for it?" is their stance.

Are you saying that the evidence didn't meet a threshold for you? Because then you might not be up to the challenge of this moment in history.

Alternately, tell us more about how you enjoy having a criminal as president and your pro-crime platform that somehow makes America...great?

Republicans don't have a burden of proof to meet. To paraphrase popehat, their standard isn't "just one more document", it's "go fuck yourself".

They've already proven that Trump's grip on their nut sacks is so much more powerful than Lady Liberty's call for the Rule of Law and the justice you get from adhering to it.

As with his past history as a failed businessman/successful carnival barker of whom couldn't get a loan from American banks, Trump's very loose dance with the laws of the land got him caught trying to rig an election using quid pro quo on a foreign nation desperate for our aid.

The Repub's response? "SO WHAT? FUCK OFF with you people embarrassing Trump with your hoax conspiracies. Leave him (us) alone! We're still celebrating his victory over the Crooked Hillary! Don't you try to take that away from us, you commie socialist bastards! He's doing a great job!"

There's absolutely no way to convince those folks who've lost their grip on reality in their pursuit of trying to elevate Trump and themselves as a legitimate intelligent group of "patriots" who have the right to create a fascist state and thus have the ability to dictate terms and conditions to the rest of the nation.

Let the polls speak for themselves they say, unless of course it overwhelmingly goes against them of which in their eyes can only happen if as Trump likes to say "the elections are rigged against them".

Thanks for proving my point.

You said Fox didnt air the house managers with sound, except they put it in a little window. Yep they did that, but they DID air the house managers with sound also. The biggest difference is they didnt air much in the evening. But your statement is patently false.

Pedantry is a wonderful ethos.

Well, its not a small matter (the coverage in general). The senate made specific rules around airing the trial, and even CSPAN couldnt air as much as they normally would, nor could they use their own cameras. That was flat out wrong to do,

I watched them do it myself. Had you read the fucking article you linked to you would see that they backed up my claim.

During commercial breaks, the live coverage would air in a little box next to ads, just as it would sit in a little box in the corner at some points during the shows themselves.

Fuck! I hate stupid people!

Fuck I do too! I guess you didnt read when I said "Yep they did that " and I guess youre blind as fuck since you didnt see the pics of Adam, full screen. You implied the only coverage they had was soundless in a corner. But then, maybe youre not good at formulating sentences. Either way, your implied statement is false.

So now you are a fucking liar as well?

What’s worse than stupid people? A fucking dumb ass liar.

Btw, my “implied” post was that people who watched Fox News for impeachment coverage got a different experience and take than those that did not and your link proved my point.

Do you ever get tired of being wrong about everything?

Serious question. Are you drunk?

edit: anyway Im not going to continue with this stupid dialogue. Final point is, we partially agree. Did Fox put the hearing in a box with no sound? Yes. Did they they do it for the majority of the house panel's arguments? No. Did they air less of the hearing than other networks? Yes.

Not sure how more clear I can be. I sure seemed to trigger you though.
