To be fair, an amazing senator. But a fucking abhorrent American.
I guess it depends on what you think the goal of being a senator is.

You know, the Senate is supposed to be a jury in these deliberations. Seems a bit peculiar that the Jury is coordinating very closely with the Defense regarding the trial. I wonder how well that'd work out in any other court.
What's old is new again... Just rerun the moneybags in the back of the Senate political cartoon with updated names.I guess it depends on what you think the goal of being a senator is.
The man's control over one of the most powerful parts of the American government can't be ignored. Like I said, he'll go down as being one of the worst Americans in history. But that's because of his effectiveness in what he is doing.
Yeah the rules need to be changed. Its just collusion at this point.
There's not much that can be done really, Senators already take an oath to act as an impartial jury and McConnell is publicly bragging about violating it.
It still has to be voted on by the full House, doesn't it?A bit late, but expected. Party line vote. Impeachment heading to Senate.
Oh, no idea, I thought this was 'the vote'.It still has to be voted on by the full House, doesn't it?
Yes, it was referred to the whole House now for a floor vote. The most recent vote was go move the articles out of the committee to the House floor.Oh, no idea, I thought this was 'the vote'.
Can we impeach senators for collusion and breaking their oaths of office, etc.? Especially when they brag about violating it.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
Senators must also take an oath or affirmation that they will perform their duties honestly and with due diligence.
You are a complete fucktard, take the infraction.
Bold claim cotton.Bet if I said that to you I'd get infracted, but you won't because you play for the other team.

Yerp, I got edumacated earlier by @Brainonska511 .... I'm glad we have an educated posting group here!First the whole house (not just the justice committee) gets to vote on it.
Are you going to pay me the $100 when the House votes to impeach?Bet if I said that to you I'd get infracted, but you won't because you play for the other team.

They can't...party of Do As I Say Not As I Do.I can't wait for this guy to start his falling on the sword for his orange boss:
BTW, Matty was arrested for DUI (he refused to take a breathier) and then he had his daddy's friend drop the charges and fire the cop who fired him.
When will GOPers start behaving like the party of law & order?
