The 2 door Accord's with the V6 are pretty nice. I wouldn't call them "sporty", but it's no slug either.

No, no it is not. Sporty is not adding a fin and getting 0-60 up to 6.0 seconds from 6.3.

I totally agree! Thats the biggest problem Asia is having now...STYLE! THey can mass produce incredibly cheap cars....but will anybody buy an econobox if they can afford better?

IMHO, Europe's got the styling card now.

You're right. They shouldn't label them as sporty just because they are more sporty than the underpowered econobox cars that they excel at. I drove a late model corvette yesterday, THAT was sporty.

Why are you so angry and who are you exactly angry at? Theyre good all around cars and thats what they are made for. Nobody is claiming them to be anything but that, if they are then they are just as moronic as you for posting the obvious as a PSA.

I have the Accord Ex V6 coupe with 6-speed manual tranny limited edition. ~240 HP, 17" wheels, sport suspension. I don't recall the exact numbers but when I was comparing them at the time 0-60 was comparable to the 350Z. Sure it's a compromise for some extra luxury and interior space, but if that's not sporty, please explain to me what is.

errm, the SI can pull some nice handling numbers.

So that brings to question. Are you defining 'sporty' as in straight line speed(aka your cobra), or all around involving handling,etc.
