Most of Segal's "cop in black" movies from the late 80's early 90's are pretty good. I esp like the one where he gets amnesia.

Isn't there some rule about his movies? Like the ones with either two or three word titles (I forget which) are the good ones?

Under Siege 2 and all that came before it are decent.

# Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995)
# On Deadly Ground (1994)
# Under Siege (1992)
# Out for Justice (1991)
# Marked for Death (1990)
# Hard to Kill (1990)
# Above the Law (1988)

You brought this upon yourself. This thread is akin to me posting something like "Someone else pooped in a sandwich and I ate it and now I have Diptheria"

I'd also like to advise not bothering to watch The Marine with John Cena or whoever. Caught it on HBO the other night...was bored...and holy CRAP that movie is bad. Wow.

You just listen to it; In that case I recommend any movie from the silent era.

I liked Under Siege 2 when I saw it xx years ago, back when I was innocent and easily amused. I wonder if it has aged well.
(Under Siege 2 is the one on the train where a madman gains control of a particle-accelerator-satellite and is thwarted by Seagal and his Apple Newton, right?)

The best Seagal movie (where he appeared for a whopping ~5 minutes) has got to be Executive Decision.

think about it this way...
whats better?
watching some low-life scum getting his butt kicked around by a do-gooder like james bond.
watching some low-life scum getting stabbed in the eye by a big dork named steven segal.

Just saw this writeup on Under Siege 2 on Cracked.com. Hilarious!

This movie originally had nothing to do with the original Under Siege. It was a script called Dark Territory about bad guys that have to hijack a train to do bad stuff. It has nothing to do with the Navy. It has nothing to do with the previous movie. Basically, Steven Seagal auditioned for the part and got it, so the producers figured they might as well give his character the same name as in Under Siege and call it a sequel.

What's especially odd is that, around this time, Speed was in need of a sequel, which meant it needed a script about a fast-moving vehicle, explosions and terrorists. Dark Territory would have fit, but it was turned into a sequel to Under Siege instead. This left Speed 2 in need of a script, so they used what was originally supposed to be the script for the third Die Hard movie, about a boat being hijacked. This obviously left Die Hard 3 in need of a script, so they gave Bruce Willis a sassy black partner and used the script that was originally going to be the fourth Lethal Weapon movie. This obviously left Lethal Weapon 4 without a script, but apparently they went ahead and shot that movie without one.

There was another guy also named Steven Seagal who was a legendary groundbreaking counterculture disk jockey going by the handle "the obscene Steven Clean"
