PSA: Walmart ain't the best place to get your tires mounted

The edges are feathering on my OEM Contipro's because the sidewall is so thin/weak as a LRR tire. I run them at 35/36 PSI and the recommendation is 33PSI. They are EXTREMELY sensitive to low psi. 28 PSI causes drivability issues. The outer toe is chunking even. The toe is feathered, and they are 3 PSI over.

I know what you are saying and here is what I'm saying.... If you are getting too much feathering on the outside sidewalls with 36psi, try 40psi.... I had the same issue on my Camry despite using "touring tires" (Michelin Primacy MXV4) until I raised the front PSI to 44. On a Volvo S60 with Pirelli P6 Four Seasons it too was experiencing lots of feathering on the outside tread until I raised the PSI from 32 to 50 in the front. Now I'm getting slightly more wear in the center so I may drop off some air and bring it to like 44psi and see if it wears more evenly. We're talking maybe 1/32" difference between sides and front.
