Canker sores? That's what that looks like to me.

Peroxide is probably your best bet for whitening, though used too much it can soften up your enamel. It's great for your gums though and it whitens your teeth up a bit.

I bleached my teeth last night as well.

That whiteness on yoru gums is NORMAL and goes away about 20 minutes later.

The tingling in your mouth during is 100x worse.....but I'm using 35% bleach.

Duh, its peroxide (sic?) not really meant for the mouth (regardless what the bottles say) it will eat thru your gums after a while.

You have periodontal disease.
The peroxide in the whitening agent reacted with the infection and attacked it, as it should.
Should clear up in a day or two, and your gums will look & feel better, but you will still have periodontal disease.
See a dentist, & brush & floss regularly and/ or better.

I know everyone says generic pharmaceuticals are exactly the same as the name brands, but I cannot use Equate contact solution. Burns my eyes in a way that Bausch & Lomb or Renu don't. I wouldn't be surprised if their whiteners use some questionable ingredients.
