This. Can't believe all the whining I'm seeing over this. It's a free service, Sony owes NOTHING to customers (except maybe PS+ users). This is an entertainment service, it does little else. From the sounds of it, people have nothing else in their lives to occupy their time. Sound like junkies.

So in that case, yes, Sony owes it to it's customers to keep the service alive. And I really don't care, I sold my PS3 a year ago - I just think it's funny how people will bash XBL for being down for a day, but PSN goes down for multiple days and those people who bash XBL claim that no one should care or be upset that PSN is down.
