Hi, I spend my summers treeplanting to make cash. Obviously I need something to keep me entertained while I have off time that isnt going to eat up all the cash I make. So I started looking into ways to port out old games that I could play a reasonable amount of time.
So what I'm wondering is if there is anything you guys could suggest that would be good for playing older/smaller games that would also be reasonable to use with batteries/battery hookups. Ive tried things like gameboys but I have never been a big fan of most of those games, not to mention the ridiculous cost associated with each new game. I would love it if I could get something I could just play my old games on. My target of choice would be if some form of mini laptop existed that didnt eat up so much power yet still had basic computer functions on it to play games and such.
Also, I'm not sure what this borders on, but I'm a fan of the old super nintendo Roms. I'm not even sure what the legal areas are for it, but what I do know is that there is no other way to play these short of carrying around a super nintendo and a tv with you. If there was any sort of hookup reasonably available that made these possible to play on handhelds I would be very happy.
Anyway, if anyone can give any sort of suggestions or opinions on what may work it would be greatly appreciated.
