OK...
I have decided to upgrade.
I will be getting a quad core cpu. Either the K8L (means waiting) or the new Intel. I have used the calculators but to be honest the Amps/Rails have me more concerned than the wattage so I really would like some opinions.
I will be getting a 8800GTX.(To that there will be 3 HDD's, 2 PCI devices, 2 USB 2.0 devices, and 1 DVD Burner, 4 120mm fans, and 2 1GB DDR2 sticks)
I will not be going SLI at this time and I would like to know if people here think these PSU's rails are strong enough for the system I listed. Options are nice
850W Enermax Galaxy: (Active PFC) DC output +3.3V@30A, +5V @30A, +12V1 @17A +12V2@17A, +12V3@17A +12V4@17A +12V5@ 17A, -12V@0.6A, +5Vsb@6A, Total Power 850W. Peak Power 950W
PCP&C 750W Silencer: +5V @ 30A,+12V @ 60A,-12V @ 0.8A,+3.3V @ 24A,+5VSB @ 3,continuous = 750W peak = 825W
Esp like opinions on the Enermax. I really like the Enermax brand I believe they make quality. And I do respect the PCP&C reputation
