Psu choose between 2

I would like to buy a PSU to finish my new ring.. I am between these two:

In my country, the cost is the same.. which one you think is the best?

Well, that's like asking "what's better, a Dremel or a jigsaw?" when we don't know your usage scenario. Are you in a SFF case? Are you trying to power more than one GPU? Tell us what parts you're using.

the XFX is semi modular, however corsair warranty have better reputation.

The new tx750 v2 is a seasonic oem. The old tx750 is an inferior design.

Actually M12D platform which is dc-dc instead of group regulated S12II.

Your link takes me to the original CWT TX750...never heard of these Chicony guys, I'll wait for some reviews first.

I'd get the XFX, modular is nice. 750W is overkill though unless you plan on running 2 graphics cards.

No it doesn't, that's the new TX750. The original TX750 is discontinued and looks completely different.

I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't any reviews for the new TX750. I suppose it's good though since it's a Corsair.

I wondered about that... I have a TX750v2 and I've read that it was a lesser unit than the original TX750. Instead of calling the new TX the v3, it sounds like they are trying to use the reputation of the original...

...and OP, Coffeejunkie is correct... unless you are powering 2x GPUs or something extraordinary like that, a 750w PSU is way overkill. My rig (in sig) barely can get to 400w at the wall with me doing everything I can (i.e. benchmark programs) to create a high power draw.

heck, my dual AMD GPU machine (one Sapphire HD 7950 & one Sapphire HD 6950 Toxic, which is factory OCed to HD 6970 specs) only draws ~430W when both are under a 99%-100% load crunching Milkyway@Home tasks 24/7 (as measured from the wall). the PSU right now is a SeaSonic X650 (i know my sig says otherwise, but i'm holding off on editing it until i'm done playing musical chairs w/ my hardware lol), and so its operating at ~66% of its capacity, which is close enough to the 50% capacity mark at which most PSUs achieve greatest efficiency...i suppose i could swap the X650 w/ one of my X750s to bring operating capacity down to ~57%, but it would probably only save me pennies over the long term.

So I thought you meant 3rd version of this new TX line. The original looked different indeed with orange instead of yellow text.

Actually that realhardtech site lists 2 TX750M's, one made by CWT and one by Chicony.

Yes, the M versions were refreshed along with the regular TX's. All of them have semi-fanless operation now despite being 80+ bronze, which is odd, but can't complain given the 5 yr warranty
