Hmmm, most power supplies have a plug built into their "motherboard". Sometimes you can plug into it but most of the time I end up cutting the old plug off the other fan and splicing it too the new fans wires.

I usually take the plug off the panaflo fan with a small screwdriver and put the plug from the PSU fan on the panaflo. Generally, the PSU fan connector will slide right onto the panaflo wires and click in place, unless there was no plug to begin with.
Actually if you open the power supply you will see what I mean. The 92mm is usually attached to the cover (covers 3 sides of the power supply) and the motherboard is actually mounted at the top of the power supply when it is installed in a case. It's just the one cover and you have access to both fans.Originally posted by: AtomicAlien
No no, I meant does the bottom open up so I can access the 92mm fan without having to remove it's whole motherboard?
