PSU help please??

Hi everyone I'm new to the forum. I wanted to ask I did a buildup pc for th eone guy and his grafics card work for a mounth and now it doesnt want to work properly it makes lines and blur images. Now the guy wants to take me to cort because he says that someone else told him the PSU is to small for al the hardware I put in here is the hardware what do you guys think:

Motherboard: MSI G31TM-P21, 95W, S775 DDR2,LAN - MATX
CPU: INTEL E5400 DUAL CORE S775, 2.70GHZ, 800FSB, 2MB
RAM: APACER 2048MB DDR II 800MHZ DIMM PC6400
Grafics Card: MSI N8400GS-D512EH 512MB 64BIT DDR2 PCI-E VGA
HDD: SAMSUNG 500GB ECHO GREEN SATAII 16MB CACHE 3.5
Drive: LG 24X SATA DVD WRITER LS - RETAIL

It has a Aopen 400W PSU in model no: Z400-08ATA

I don't know how good/bad the Aopen power supply is, but if 400w is accurate, then it should very very easily power the components.

From the listed parts, I think it'll max out at about 160watt.

CPU - 65 watt
GPU - 70 watt
Ram - 4 watt
HHD - 6 watt
MB/Cooling/Misc - 25 watt

That's not actually a 400W PSU, since the maximum combined 3.3V & 5V & 12V is listed as 335W (and that is more than likely at 25C). I'm not sure who the OEM is, although it might be FSP which is not too bad.

But even 335W is more than enough for that system, which should only be around 100W.

The first thing I would suspect with video corruption would be the video card or video drivers or dust buildup causing excessive heat.
