I got a new FSP AX400-PN to replace my old FSP 250W PSU. Anyways, after a lot of struggling to get the 20 pin mobo cable out, I managed to reconnect everything correctly, but found that the computer would not boot! I looked closely at the new PSU's 20 pin connector, and found that there was an empty space to where no cable was connected. I looked at my old PSU, and found that in the space, there was a white cable connected. I will probably contact FSP and ask for a replacement, unless somebody here has a possible other solution.
I have, however, another problem. The old power supply, after having connected it, does not boot either. I am pretty sure I have connected everything in the correct place, so what could it be? Could it be the motherboard? I think a couple of weird cylinder things (I'm obviously a noobie at building PC's) may have gotten a little loose from all the pulling, as may have a stick of RAM (it doesn't help to have IDE cables in the way...).
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Should this be in technical support? Please move if it should be.
