Question PSU Switch off when PC was in Sleep Mode

Hi all! My PC was shut down when it was in sleep mode. Behind the PSU is UPS, then electricity problems can't do the things.

My PSU model Chieftec APS-750CB A-135. Should I worry now and go to the service? Last time I lost my data :-(

Can you turn the PC back on again?
That's the only way you'll be able to confirm if everything is alright.
In any case you should have backup of your data anyway.

Yes, I can turn on PC back now, but 2-3 hours in row I can't (the PC was not responding on button)

I'd guess it's most likely that the 5VSB circuit in your PSU is failing, specifically the capacitor(s) in that subcircuit.

If not under warranty, I'd pop the cover off and check for vented caps.

The caps looks good. Clear it from dust and wait will problems continue

See if you can figure out any pattern to it. Monitor the 5VSB rail with a logging multimeter or scope.

Consider what seems most likely, failing UPS, failing PSU, or less likely, failing motherboard. Once in a great while, I read of someone even having oddball problems from the case front panel, on/off switch failing.

Is it possible you are simply having power brownouts for longer than the UPS can keep it powered?

Back to the original post, you wrote "last time I lost my data", but why wouldn't you have saved your data before stepping away and letting the PC sleep in the first place? That is unless you mean that you had filesystem corruption but that should not happen while the PC is asleep, unless what is really happening is that HDD or SSD is failing or has a bad cable/connector/something, OR you had instability while the system was awake too and that caused corruption.

I was not able to switch on PC for 2-3 hours after that incident. And then I do nothing but system start work and work till now great.
