As for the apology... dunno how I feel, I guess it quells any immediate anger I have for it. Words to cover words, right? If he has a history of acting kindly to Americans... then I think I can accept it. Problem is I just don't know him, eh? So I'll skip passing judgement on him, for now.

I'm teaching in South Korea and I've definitely noticed a love/hate relationship with America. South Koreans are fascinated with our Western lifestyle, but they hate our arrogant and ignorant attitudes. I've noticed that most foreigners who travel to South Korea never learn to speak Korean. They could give two sh*ts about the culture. Most are here to make money, party and to sleep with as many Korean women as possible.

No wonder they despise us.
