You know what's really sad? is that after 2 1/2 years with you she expected so little from you in terms of support when she broke down enough from her self hatred to get herself some help that she ended the relationship.

I hope she gets good help and some healing,it sounds like her existance is pretty painful to her.

well, another comment she added in the mix was " hey , we've been going out for over 2 years, and I need someone to accept me for who I am". I thought WTF? I have been nothing but supportive, and saw the relatinship through many rough times, because I still wanted it to work out. Maybe she wants someone new so she can have her mandatory " beginning of relationship bliss" that we all like so much, till the next guy starts realizing there is a major problem there.
