I find it best to complain in public as well as directly in case it puts any pressure on them:
Submitted online. Will update if I get service.
Edit: OK. Looks like I got taken to the cleaners by my eye doctor. I'm pretty sure I paid $280 and then still got another huge bill for a many hundred dollars when my insurance didn't cover nearly as much of the cost of the glasses as they told me it would. They "forgave" a lot of it for their mistake and I don't know how much of it was in the cost of the lenses but I did get the absolute cheapest plastic lenses.
Last year I purchased new prescription glasses from you at the shop inside my eye doctor's office (Dr. Berger in Newnan, GA). They are the most expensive glasses I have ever owned due in no small part to carrying your name but they have degraded to such a point that I can no longer wear them in public without making your brand look bad.
The silicone/rubber that runs from the legs along the temple is rotting right off! It still feels soft but it is falling apart and shearing off in pieces. Because it is removable it is also easily replaceable but I can't find any mention of it on your site.
At the time of purchase I recall asking if I could get different colors at the doctor's office. They said "no" so I know they can't get the parts either. Due to the design of these glasses the soft rubber parts are very prominent. It's obvious to me that it should have included replacements with the glasses in the first place.
My last pair of Cargo-brand glasses lasted me from 2005 through 2012. I cannot legally drive without my glasses so you'd better believe that I expected more from your brand. The band on my Fossil-made Sony-Ericsson MBW-150 wrist watch recently broke as well and the display faded in a matter of weeks so I am not inclined to trust your brand for other reasons. I got positive comments on both while they were still presentable but I have learned my lesson: if you can't resolve this then I will never buy your brand again.
Please let me know if there is anything you can do. Thanks.
