Shorty, you've been owned and your entire weak rant not only shows how shallow you are, but ignorant as well.

Instead of merely pointing out that the girl was a pain in the ass or a bitch, you felt the need to pick on her for her size and incorrectly assume you knew what "Petite" meant when it comes to women's clothing sizes. So it turns out YOU'RE the dumbass, not her. Oh! The Irony!!!

Not only that, but seeing as you felt so strongly about it, why didn't you tell her to STFU instead of slinking away and posting a weak ignorant rant on the internet. Too much of a pussy to degrade people in person? Did the short chubby woman scare you too much?

The fashion industry is what's wrong, not the dictionary. That's like Starbucks calling their smallish medium-sized drink a "Tall". Just because they insist on using it doesn't mean that it's wrong, wrong, wrong.

Uh, you are wrong in the assumption petite doesnt mean short.

Petite sizing is for women 4'11" to 5'3" size 0 to size 18-20. And a size 18-20 is going to be well over 200lbs...</blockquote>Uhh, no, I am not.

www.read a dictionary.com
EDIT: Nevermind, you'll probably get your definition from wikpedia.
Here it ise·tite adj. Small, slender, and trim. Used of a girl or woman. See Synonyms at small.
n. A clothing size for short slender women. </blockquote>

The dictionary and wikipedia can define it however they want. Wreckem is correct. The clothing industry has petite as clothing proportionally designed for a woman 5'4" and under. Slender is not a factor.

Its like Starbuck's calling their medium drinks a tall and their large a "grande" or whatever, I haven't been in it for a while because the place just doesn't sit well with me. If I'm gonna buy your overpriced watery bean soup with caramel, at least have the decency to call it what it is: medium coffee.

Sure, the clothing companies may call it petite, but in general people see petite and think of small women, both in height and girth. Frankly, when a large woman is rude because she cant seem to stuff the hams she calls legs down a pant leg, she should deal with it and look at larger sizes. I have no issues with women who know their size and dress accordingly, yes it IS possible to look good and be big.

But when I see what looks like a Michelin Man in "Guess" jeans walloping down the street, with plump children dressed in the same manner (exposed torso and unbearably tight jeans and heels...both on the mother AND her 9 year old child), that is what I refer to as eye pollution.

Ok ... enlighten us as to all the positive aspects of being a fatty.

Apparently being overweight is not unhealthy, dieting is.

Well, the sort of "dieting" that Americans tend to do is unhealthy. However, they are NEVER going to convince me that being fat is more healthy than being skinny, enjoying an active lifestyle, and eating generally healthy food with a few classical "unhealthy" dishes occasionally.

Besides, all that extra mass is causing the earth to move closer to the sun and accelerating global warming. Not to mention the methane production.

They only label the clothes that way to flatter those little fatties...just like the the sizing of all women's clothes... ie., a size 2 pair of jeans does NOT mean it has a 2 inch waistline. it's an artificial number. I don't even know how big a say... size 14 is, but it is definitely not 14 inches... womenz like the lower number. Men don't care so we happily wear the size 46 jeans... women need to grow up!</blockquote>
Sure - and that's why they call men's section where you find the 46" jeans "Big and Tall" - not "Fat and Tall". It wouldn't have anything to do with flattering the fatties, now would it?

In Argentina, the hotel at which we stayed had a flier advertising some clothes for large men. See the Brand names.

Hell, I should be a charter member of that group...I'm certainly WELL above the standards you skinny fucks set as normal... (although, before I got hurt, I was 6-1" and 210 lbs.) Not exactly fat considering my muscle build. Now however, I resemble Jabba the Hut...Maybe I should change my nick to Boomer the Hut...

The line about the tent department was priceless. I'd give this a nominee for best rant of 2007. Just in time not to be forgotten. Post this 2-3 days later and you'd never have a shot at 2008.

LOL.

On a serious note, yes some diets are hazardous but this only impacts the uninformed and uneducated mass. Aside from certian health conditions it's actually relatively simple maintaining a healthy diet. Stop drowning yourself in sugar and fats and sitting all day.

LMAO... I love their Physical Fitness Policies.

That fat people be trained to lead fitness classes and serve as role models for health and fitness regardless of size.
Um... sorry but anyone experienced enough to be qualified to lead a fitness class won't be fat.

haha this kept me from starting work for a good 15 min while I lol'ed repeatedly.

9/10

you ever notice that quite often the "heavier" a girl is directly relates to how bitchy she is when looking at clothing that doesn't fit her but she thinks it does?
